Campaign team meet at LD HQ

The campaign planning team for the South East European elections met yesterday (Friday) in the Liberal Democrat's Cowley Street HQ in London. The plans are progressing well, with very good progress on campaigning and membership involvement reported back from all parts of the region. The campaign, concentrating on what the Liberal Democrats have achieved in the European parliament over the last 5 years and on their programme of delivering Liberal Democracy in the next, is taking shape well.
"I am really excited about the elections next year" said second placed candidate, Catherine Bearder, "as part of this team, I know we are setting a positive agenda and one that all our members will get behind. I am confident that we will have a good result next June" she said.
