Women Liberal Democrats brave the rain

Women Lib Dems enjoyed their annual summer garden party, despite the rain on Saturday. The setting was the delightful garden of Vice Chair, Miranda Whitehead just outside Fordingbridge in Hampshire, and thankfully the generous marquee saved the splendid spread of cakes and sandwiches from the rain.

"WLD is such an important part of the party, from its support for women candidates to its campaigning on issues that affect women directly such as their treatment in prison. I am always happy to be able to support its work, but when wonderful cakes are included, it's even more of a pleasure" said Catherine.
