Taking part in the Liberal Democrat Spring Conference

As a member of the Federal Conference committee, Catherine played an active part at the Lib Dem Spring Conference in Liverpool. Catherine chaired the emergency debate on the Sunday morning which called for action to stop the violence in Gaza and was the aide to chair Dee Doocey at Legal Aide debate on the Saturday.
"The conference was a great success, and whilst we all found our way around the brand new centre in Liverpool we met old friends, passed important policy motions and heard inspirational speeches from our parliamentarians. Nick Clegg's first speech as our leader was wonderful and sent us off home with a real spring in our steps" said Catherine.
